CAROLINE CHISHOLM  AGED CARE FACILITY

Caroline Chisholm Aged Care Facility is a two level 79 bed residential aged care facility located in Lane Cove. The ground floor caters for 44 frail aged persons and the first floor is a 35 bed secure Dementia Specific Unit.

Caroline Chisholm offers a wide range of services, delivered by suitably qualified and professional staff. Single, twin share and a limited number of multi-share rooms are available. A daily laundry service is provided at no extra charge.

ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

An extensive activities programme is offered, designed to promote quality of life and entertainment for the residents, our therapy team co-ordinates a comprehensive and creative activities programme which includes:

•  Bus outings/ Community outings

•  In house entertainment

•  Individual therapy programmes for residents unable to join in group activities

•  Exercise programmes/ wheelchair walks

•  Carpet Bowls

•  Story telling/Reminiscing/Movies/Videos

•  Manicure service

•  Pets for therapy

•  BBQ's in the garden/ “HAPPY HOUR”

•  Book reading for the visually impaired

•  Community volunteer visitors

•  Residents Library

•  Pastoral visitors
